Description of the cabin

The cabin you rent is located alone on a headland right next to the lake in the province of Södermanland beautiful nature.

You'll pass a large cow pasture and then end up on "Björkudden" where you get a wonderful vacation week in a fully equipped house with the opportunity to cook, chill in front of the fire, grill on one of the large terraces facing both north and south or enjoy the large surfaces of the garden. You live completely alone with all the possibilities for fresh air, nature experiences and fishing opportunities.

The lake is swimming friendly with access to two docks. The house's large windows open up to a panoramic view where opportunities are given to see beautiful spectacles in the sky or to watch the rich bird life near the house.

The silence and solitude also offer a good night's sleep in comfortable beds. The cabin is located right on the border between the provinces of Östergötland and Södermanland. To the nearest neighbor it is 1km.

Guest Cottage
About 30 meters from the house, there is a guest cottage with two lovely bedrooms, each with a double bed. However, the guest cottage does not have a toilet. The guest cottage is included in the rental price.

For larger groups (up to 14 people), it is also possible to rent a nearby house (about 50 m away), equipped with a kitchen, toilet/shower, and bedroom. See Cottage 3184.

The other house on the peninsula is not rented to other families when you rent the house – you have the peninsula to yourselves.

Tourists attractions

In Vingåker is the well-visited outlet store "Factory outlet" with adjacent shops and restaurants. In the immediate area there are also castles to visit, bike paths to use or visit cozy summer cafés. Rejmyre with glassworks, shop and café is 25 km from the cabin. Kartineholm 30 km, Örebro 60 km, Linköping 100 km.

About fishing

Nice fishing opportunities directly from the cabin, the fish that are fished are mainly perch, pike and bream.

In a larger lake about 1 km from the cabin you fish for pikeperch.

Rowing boat is available at the cabin. Fishing is done with a fishing rod or cast rod. The best time for fishing is May-June.

There are different bed options. Two people sleep in the sleeping loft. The sleeping area has a double bed but also a bunk bed in the same room, which allows 4 people to sleep in this room. In the garden there is also a newly built cabin with two separate bedrooms with double bed (no toilet / water). The guest decides which rooms are used. It is not possible to add more guests (max 6 people).

	Katharina J. (Herford) Date: 16.08.2026 4 / 5 We had a really lovely holiday with three generations in Byle. The main house is fine, but it only offers two sleeping places in an older double bed and a sofa bed. The other bedrooms are located in an older annex, which we did not use because it was full of belongings and was more like a storage shed. As is common in Sweden, there are no large wardrobes in the house. The terrace and the jetty are wonderful, although the lake is green because there are small particles suspended in the water. We could not see any algae. It was still perfectly fine for swimming! The guest house is modern and offers two comfortable double beds in two rooms with separate entrances. There are also smaller wardrobes. The smaller house is modernly furnished and has a nearly new small kitchen, a spacious bathroom, a cozy living/dining room and a nice bedroom with shelving. When we arrived, there was a crack in the wooden bed frame, but it could still be used and the owner planned to repair it later. There are seating areas and terraces in all directions. There is also a small, pleasant sauna and several storage sheds, all of which are filled with belongings. There are also various personal items in the cupboards in all the houses, as the owner uses the property for his family. Overall, it is a private and personal property. The road there was also fine; as described, you have to cross a large cow pasture. After the cows had inspected our car and become familiar with it, we were able to pass through without any problems. It was a shame that there was no direct access to a wooded area from the house. You have to take the boat or walk a little to reach the nature reserve. In my opinion, the directions to the house are listed in the wrong order. It is easiest to find the house using GPS/navigation. We were confused by the description and spent some time looking for it.
	Urban K. (Middelfart) Date: 11.08.2024 5 / 5 All in all, a lovely cottage, in some fantastic surroundings. Unfortunately, the lake was completely green with algae, so swimming and fishing were impossible. Rents 2 to 3 cabins in Sweden where the priority is FISHING, the cabin does not live up to that.
