Our cabins in Närke are located in a very varied nature, here you will find mountains, deep forests and also flatter areas. Here you will find accommodation in the smallest province in Sweden, a province that lies between three large lakes, Hjälmaren, Skagen and Vättern - which is the second largest lake in Sweden. Närke is located in the south between Sweden and borders 5 provinces in Sweden, Västmanland in the north, Värmland in the northwest, Västergötland in the southwest, Östergötland in the southeast and Södermanland in the east. Larger watercourses in Närke are Letälven, Arbogaån, Svartån and Kvismare canal. With a close proximity to water which means that our cabins in Närke have good fishing opportunities.
Närke has an area of 4,183 km2 and a population of 205,000 inhabitants.

Örebro
Örebro has a rich entertainment life and a large selection of shopping, nice restaurants, pubs and cozy cafes. The city of Örebro with the castle in the center is well worth a visit. More attractions in Örebro can be found under "day trips from your cottage" below.
Askersund
Askersunds is an idyllic town on Lake Vättern. The city center offers a pleasant environment with cobblestone squares and beautiful buildings with small town shopping all year round, and with a wonderful summer season!
Kumla
Historically, Kumla is a shoe city but recently also become an art and culture city. Here is a wide range of unique museums, including The Shoe Industry Museum with its own production of shoes and other historical sights.
