The apartment is in a semi-detached house with walls of rammed clay concrete (clay and sand), which provides a good indoor climate. About 85 m2, living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs and bedroom with wardrobe and a crawl-in with pitched ceiling upstairs. For the sake of the environment, the house has urine-separating toilet bowls in porcelain with water flushing for the urine.
Fully modern with most facilities. Small glass veranda with table and chairs. Outdoor furniture in the garden and barbecue grill. Radio.
Fully equipped kitchen: stove with oven, fridge and freezer, pots, frying pan, coffee press, teapot, sandwich grill, chef knives, etc.
WiFi free, so relax (unplug) and enjoy life - it's here and now, not online. HOWEVER, for those of you who must use the internet, there is broadband connection via optical fiber cable.
You need a vehicle to get here, cars are available for rent at the airport and in the city of Nyköping. As the house is 13 km from the nearest shop in Nyköping, it may be a good idea to shop for food before you arrive. There are stairs to and from the apartment.
As your host, I am a social person and have worked abroad, so for me it is interesting to have new contacts from near and far. Environmental thinking is important to me in all areas of life. This earthen house that I live in and rent out is part of this. I always try to meet the guests upon arrival for an introduction to the house and the surroundings. The host lives in the apartment next door. Sheets and towels can be rented, for indoor use only.
The house is located on an organic farm with cows, calves, horses, chickens and cats. Possibility to watch milking available.
300 m to the lake where there is a swimming bay and a wood-burning sauna, which can be used by agreement and for a fee. Rowing boats are usually available to borrow by arrangement.
Nice little roads to walk or cycle on. 14 km to Nyköping and the ocean.
Just over 1 hour's journey to Stockholm. About 18 km to Stockholm Skavsta Airport. Nor far to Stendörren's beautiful nature reserve and its archipelago. Even small picturesque Trosa is also within day trip distance. Nyköpinghus should not be forgotten either. There are many more interesting and beautiful places to visit, e.g. Spikstenen in Ripsa - a moving block that looks like it will fall at any moment. More excursion destinations can be suggested by the host on site.
