The cabin is located in an old cultural landscape surrounded by pastures and nearby lakes far from buildings. The cabin is a farmhouse and is located about 40 meters from the house. The farm is located in a private location by Lillsjön. No other residents live by the lake. 5 detached buildings make up the farm, such as a large cabin, small cabin, the smokehouse/farm shop, shed and hen house. The yard is about 6000 square meters with large open lawns. The yard is surrounded by pastures where grazing animals in the summer. At the farm we have sheeps, chickens and two cats. We who live in the main house are a family with two adults and two children.
Here you'll have the chance of a de-stressing and eventful stay, the silence is all around us here.
On the farm, there is a small smokehouse and a farm shop where you can buy fresh and smoked fish, lamb meat, and seasonal vegetables.
The cabin is available for rent year-round. Winter is a fantastic time in Bjärhult. If the lake is frozen, you can go ice fishing, ice skating, skiing, or simply enjoy the peace, light a fire, and indulge in a sauna bath. There are ski slopes at Omberg, about a 1-hour drive from the cabin.
Lillstugan is newly renovated (2017).
The downstairs consists of a kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom and sauna.
In the kitchen there is a wood stove for heating and coziness factor, the basic heat consists of an air source heat pump.
The upper floor has an open floor plan with 3 beds and a TV room.
There is a washing machine in the house.
