Renovated 19th century house located in an old Swedish settlement dating back to the 17th century in Östergötland in Sweden.
The house is individually located on a farm with some small fields and with many small forest lakes around. The forest is close and provides ample opportunities to see all kinds of wild animals and there are many pleasant walking paths and old roads. Serene and tranquil.
It is about 50 m to the nearest neighbor who is also the host.
The house is equipped with running hot and cold water, shower and WC. There is also a washing machine.
The kitchen is a large, spacious, old-fashioned kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a stove with an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, cutlery, glasses, crockery and plates and everything else that is usually found in a kitchen.
The living room has comfortable furniture. There is also a fireplace for cozy evenings. There is an air source heating pump in the house.
There is no TV in the house, instead there is a broadband connection that you can use and watch TV on your laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
There is a nice little guest house in the yard, which is included in the price, it can be used April - September.
There is an outhouse (outdoor toilet) nearby (see the small house on the aerial view) and if the shower in the main house gets crowded, there are also shower facilities in the landlord's basement.
In the garden there is garden furniture and a large brick barbeque grill. Very child-friendly large lawn, a stream to discover (200 m), jetty to fish from, and forest all around to play in.
It is only 200 meters to the lake, where a jetty is available. The lake is suitable for both swimming and fishing. There is also a rowing boat here that you can use.
It is 800 meters to a swimming area.
Two bicycles and a canoe can be rented
Other interesting information: The host lives next door and is happy to help with tips and ideas with activities such as a day at Astrid Lindgren's world, Kolmården zoo or shopping in Linköping or visit small coastal communities such as Valdemarsvik or Västervik.
The nearest golf course is 30 km from the cabin. The distance to Linköping is 55 km and to the nearest shop it is 20 km.
