Idyll in southern province of Dalsland. 15 km north of Vänersborg with a quiet and undisturbed location on a large natural yard. Lawn for relaxation and play. In addition to small swimming bays along the shores of Lake Vänern is the large popular swimming area Sikhall (approx. 3.5 km). Adjacent to the beach is the campsite with restaurant, bar and a small shop. There you can rent a rowing boat if you want to go fishing. The marina is located 500 m before the swimming area and has a guest harbor and boat ramp. The cabin is newly renovated (2015) and is very nice. From the welcoming veranda you enter via the hallway straight into the large living room with a fireplace and a dining area, TV corner and modern sofa bed (2 beds), bunk bed and sitting area in front of the fireplace. Exit to a nice patio with seating and barbeque grill. Additional patio is on the side of the porch and at the front of the cabin. TV Dish with free German channels. The bedroom is next to the living room and contains 2 beds. The nearest community is Frändefors, 8 km, with a supermarket, gas station and Grill bar etc. Distance to Gothenburg is 100 km. Final cleaning can be ordered for a fee. Welcome to the cozy cabin where everyone can enjoy themselves. The landscape is hilly with forest and meadows, some cabins are nearby but not within sight. No disruptive car traffic. Firewood included.
Tourists attractions
The cabin is located in mushroom and berry rich lands. Berry picking on your own yard. The adventure pool in Vänersborg and moose safari, among other things in Hunneberg (20 km). Excursion destination: The aqueduct in Håverud, Dalsland canal, Dalsland's activities, an experience center in Dals Långed (approx. 50 km). If you want to travel along the coast, feel free to visit Nordens Ark, a large zoo with wild animals.

Lake fishing, fishing can be done from a rented rowing boat or cast rod on land. No fishing license

Friendly homeowner who was easy to reach. Very little traffic on the road outside. The A/C in the house was a great help during a really hot week. Several outdoor seating areas offered both sun and shade. Just a few minutes by car to a fantastic swimming spot.
