Description of the Cabins
In Öjervik, near Rottneros, in Sunne Municipality, Värmland, there are three cabins with lakefront property and two private beaches – idyllically located on a peninsula in Mellanfryken, in the beautiful Fryksdalen Valley.
The place is a true summer idyll, set in scenic and peaceful surroundings. The shallow sandy bottom makes it perfect for children.
There are three houses with a total of 7 beds, a toilet, shower, and sauna.
The largest house has 5 beds, a toilet, a wood-burning stove, and a simple kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge, and freezer – but no dishwasher. On the veranda, there is also a Weber grill and a charcoal grill.
The second house has two more beds, a shower, washing machine, and a sauna.
The third house features a kitchenette with a hotplate and microwave, and a cozy living room with a fireplace and toys for children. There is also a playhouse in the yard.
There are 3 bicycles, a rowboat, and a canoe. A motor for the rowboat can be rented for an additional 1000 SEK.
There is a new house 20 meters from the main cabin, which is completely unoccupied and not used during your stay.
Cleaning and bed linen are not included.
The houses are located 4 km from an 18-hole golf course, Rottneros Park, and Selma Spa.
Sunne Water Park, Västanå Theater, Selma Lagerlöf’s Mårbacka, Tossebergsklätten, and the Geijer Family Estate in Ransäter are also nearby, as well as hiking trails.
It is 6 km to Sunne and 60 km to Karlstad.
In addition, the municipality's public beach in Öjervik, with a jetty and beach volleyball court, is located just a short distance away.
