In the summertime there's several fantastic hiking trails. Värmland's highest mountain Granberget, Nordvärmlandsleden and Långberget are three pleasant hikes.

Ski-in-ski-out: In winter you have the entire Branäs ski resort on your doorstep. You store the skis in the spacious and heated ski storage next to the apartment. The ski area offers varied skiing and very different activities for both large and small children, with ski cross tracks, Nintendoland etc. Cross-country trails high up in the terrain provide a long season for cross-country skiing. The trails go through varied nature with mountains, bogs and fantastic views.
The nearby Långberget-mountain also gives you additional access to several miles of cross-country skiing in winter.
