Description of the cabin

Vacation accommodation on Ingarö in the Stockholm archipelago with proximity to both beach and town. The main building is 80 sqm with a loft of 40 sqm. The guest house is 40 sqm.

The main building has an open floor plan living room / kitchen. The living room is open to the ridge with large windows facing the patio and garden.

In the spacious living room there is a comfortable living area with TV and a wood burning stove as well as a dining area with dining table for 8 people.

The open kitchen has all the mechanical equipment. Master bedroom with comfortable double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds.

Large bathroom with shower and washing machine.

WIFI. Heated floors throughout the house.

Large deck around the whole house. The deck has comfortable outdoor furniture, sun loungers and a barbeque grill. A newly installed awning that provides shade when the sun is scorching.

In the guest house there is a double bed and a single bed, a large bathroom and a sauna.

The beach is only 800 m from the cabin.

Ingarö is known as one of the archipelago's most beautiful places.

The island has a bridge connection with the mainland and there is a close bus connection there to Stockholm.

Bus to Stockholm takes 40 minutes.

At this cabin you can have a climate-smart vacation without using your own car, instead travel to the cabin with public transportation.

Perfect house if you want to experience the real archipelago with swimming, beach and cliffs and at the same time have the opportunity to quickly get into the capital for culture, museum, shopping, restaurants and the metropolitan pulse.

Final cleaning is carried out by a cleaning company. A mandatory cleaning fee of SEK 2500 is to be paid upon arrival.

Tourists attractions

It is approx. 2 km to a larger beach with canoe rental, restaurant and shop. To Stockholm it is about 30 minutes by car. There are also buses that run to and from Stockholm.

Beautiful, well-kept house. Just a short hop to the water and nature. Equipment was very good. We were even lucky enough to see a moose in the front yard in the morning. Recommended !!

Beautiful, well-kept vacation home in a quiet location on a skerry island near Stockholm. The Island is accessible by bridge. The house is modern and nicely furnished with enough space for 6 to 8 people, enough crockery available and the outdoor area/patios are spacious and beautifully laid out. The annex is a bit older but also well-kept. Ocean/beach is a little over 10 mins walk, nice harbor and small beach. Ideal for a little break and cooling off. Stockholm is easily accessible by public transport, especially if you drive to Brunn or Gustavsberg (free P&R parking), from there there is a bus every 10-15 minutes to Stockholm - Slussen. Ideal starting point for sightseeing in Stockholm and the surrounding area, if you then want to have peace and quiet in the evening. The only point of criticism: some areas were not left as clean as we are used to by the previous tenant. A devaluation of one point would therefore not be justified.
