A small cabin for you who want a relaxing vacation in the countryside, right next to a swimming and fishing lake and the Sörmland forests' hiking trails - and for you who want to visit the big city during the day and at the same time start and end the day in close nature.
The cabin is only a 45 minute drive from Stockholm's inner city. It is also possible to get here with Stockholm's public transportation and lastly a walk through the forest. In other words, here are the best conditions you can think of for a varied and wonderful vacation.
From the yard boundary you have 30 meters to the shoreline. The lake water is almost always warm from May to September. The lake is in the water source in the area so motorboats are prohibited, which contributes to the calm atmosphere. When you are tired of swimming and playing at the area's common floating dock, you can take a ride on the SUP board or the rowing boat that belongs to the cabin.
Jog or walk around the lake, about 7 km, or go on a longer trip on the Sörmlandsleden hiking trail. During the blueberry season, you can come home with the bucket filled in record time. Here are moose, deer, wild boar and rabbits.
The accommodation is divided into two small cabins, one of 20 sqm and one of 15 sqm, which is connected by a large wooden deck of around 80 sqm of which 25 are under a roof with a large dining table, infrared heating, barbeque grill, craft bench and sink. There is running cold water in the sink.
In the larger cabin there is the kitchen / living room with lovely ceiling height, kitchen corner and large table with kitchen sofa. There is also a small bedroom with a 140-bed and a desk.
In the smaller cabin there is a sofa bed, 140 cm when pulled out, TV and a 90 cm-bed.
In the yard there are also two storage buildings and a dry toilet. In one of the storage buildings there is a shower.
In the yard is a camper that serves as a guest house with a comfortable double bed and a hammock outside.
ICA grocery store and pizzeria are located next to the bus stop a couple of kilometers from the cabin.
