Description of the cabin

Nice little cabin consisting of kitchen, living room, bathroom and sleeping loft with 4 beds. There is a tube stove in the living room for cozy evenings.
The cabin is located on the host's farm and there are horses and dogs on the farm. A nice house, perfect for the small family or couple.
The cabin is located by Lake Björkern, a lake with good fishing opportunities.
The neighbor has a farm with deer, yaks and cattle grazing nearby, where it is possible to buy locally produced meat and charcuterie products. This neighbor also arranges fishing and boat rentals.

Cabin 2466 & Cabin 2467 are close to the house if you are several families or a larger group of people that wants to vacation together

Astrid Lindgren's World and Vimmerby 60 km.
Kolmården 90 km.

There are many pleasant excursion destinations and activities in the surroundings, but the place mainly offers peace and quiet.

About fishing

The cottage is located right by Lake Björkern with good fishing. In Björkern you will find, among other things, perch, pike and char.
Lake Åsunden is only 6 km away and offers fishing for perch, pike and pikeperch.

When there were problems with the water, we were immediately provided with containers of drinking water. You can paddle and fish wonderfully on the lake. It is also worth taking a bike ride to the upper lakes.

Vacation in the middle of nature, forest water, wild animals and tranquillity to relax. In the house, watch out if you're over 1.70m as the ceilings are low, and practice for 2 to 3 days until you can climb the stairs. Nature lovers spend a wonderful time here. Valö island restaurant and petrol station in Björkfors are very close. For shopping to Rimforsa. We will definitely vacation here again

Swimming area with a cozy terrace and jetty for fishing directly in front of the farm. The landlords are very nice. Unfortunately, the cottage is completely in the shade from the afternoon, so we couldn't sit on the terrace that often because it got too cold then. A larger table on the porch for eating and writing would be good. The stairs to the bedroom are very steep and offer hardly any step surface, so we had to be very careful. And in the kitchen there is no large pot, for example to cook pasta. But otherwise everything was there that you need, there were two of us and we had a very nice and relaxing time! The highlights were the deer right in front of the terrace and the view of the lake from a rock, which you can reach via a path through the forest about 200 m further from the farm! Perfect for relaxation!
