Are you are looking for a cabin in southern Sweden that is quiet and peaceful but close to many activities? This house sits on an 8000 m2 large hilly natural yard in the middle of the forest in the province of Småland. In the yard there are many different trees, shrubs, a sunny lawn and space for play and games. The cabin is lovingly decorated with many nice details. To the nearest neighbor it is 2000m.
The cabin is protected from view from the small forest road that lead down to the lake. When you enter the hallway, you'll find the stairs that leads to upstairs.
Straight ahead is the kitchen which is fully furnished with a dining table and original stove with oven from Husqvarna. From here you enter the large living room with a wood burning stove, comfortable furniture and a dining area. Flat screen TV with German channels and music system with Bluetooth, there are board games and a book corner for children and adults. There is a bathroom with shower and washing machine on the lower level. The bathroom is also accessible from the garden.
When you go up the stairs you come to a small hallway. To the right is the bedroom with a double bed, straight ahead is the master bedroom with 2 single beds and a crib. From the master bedroom you reach the small bedroom with a bunk bed. The bedrooms have wardrobes and bedside tables. The main house is approx. 80 m2.
There is a guest cabin of 10 m2 that can be rented from the end of May to the beginning of September. It is located approx. 15 meters from the main building.
In the yard there is plenty of space to play games, relax, sunbathe and barbeque. There are soccer goals, outdoor games, pirate tree hut and swings. There is a barbeque area and a ball grill as well as garden furniture for pleasant meals outdoors. For rainy days there is an activity room with a ping pong table and dart board. Bring your own darts. There are 7 used bicycles and an inflatable boat to borrow. There is a rowing boat in Lake Alstern that is included in the rental price . There are 4 life jackets, of which 2 are children's. More canoes and bicycles can be rented if you ask in good time. A sauna is located in a side building in the yard.

The house is located alone in the middle of the forest. There is a forest road of 1.5 km down to Lake Sävsjö. The nature reserve "Våraskruvs" is 2.8 km. Within 20 minutes by car there are several nature reserves. The nearest swimming area is by Lake Alstern in Sävsjöström 3 km from the cabin. There are several nice swimming areas in the surroundings. Larger shop is in Lenhovda 11 km from the cabin, there is also a shop in Älmhult 11km. 20 minutes by car and you reach Målerås and the glass kingdom. It is 27 km to Grönåsens moose park. To Kalmar and Öland bridge it is 80km. On the island of Öland there is a Zoo. To Astrid Lindgren world and Vimmerby it take about 1.5 hours by car.
Nearby is also "Little Rock Lake" which is northern Europe's longest cable car. There are nice walks and bike paths, including through Sävsjöström.
At this cabin you can have a climate-smart vacation and travel close to the vacation home by public transportation. If you do not have a car, you can travel by public transportation from Växjö to Sävsjöström, then it is a 3 km walk to the cabin.
There are many good fishing waters nearby. Both for hauling and fly fishing. Alsterån is known for its fly fishing 2 km from the cabin.
