This wonderful cabin is located in the middle of beautiful nature , surrounded by mountains in the province of Jämtland. Lake Åkersjön is located in close proximity to the cabin. In front of the cabin you have a large terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue grill. There is also a sauna in the house.
From the cabin you have a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. The lake is only 20 meters from the cabin and is perfect for both swimming and fishing. There's game fish available in the lake.
Included in the rent is a motorboat that you can use on the lake.
There are shops/grocery stores in Föllinge, which is approximately 35 km from the cabin.
The nearest city is Östersund, which is about 90 km from the cabin.
There is a lot of forest surrounding the cabin, where you can pick both berries and mushrooms. There are also several hiking trails nearby, for example the Flower Trail to Blomsterfjället ( flower mountain) Ansätten.
Snowmobiles are for rent at the hotel in the winter time, which is located approximately 2.5 km from the cabin. It is about 6 km to Åkersjön's downhill skiing slope.
Fishing, both summer and wintertime, with a chance to catch trout and char in Lake Åkersjön. Fishing licenses can be purchased at ifiske.se
There are mountain ponds, lakes and Åkerån's flowing water with nearly a mile of trout fishing and small game hunting.
Lake Åkersjön is located along the Fishing-Road and is also included in the Fishing-Road License, which gives you 13 miles of fishing between Krokom and the Norwegian border. The Fishing-Road License can be purchased at https://www.ifiske.se/fiske-fiskevagenkortet.htm
