This wonderful cabin is located in the heart of beautiful nature, surrounded by mountains in the province of Jämtland. Lake Åkersjön is just a short distance from the cabin.
In front of the cabin, you'll find a spacious terrace with garden furniture and a barbeque grill. There is also a sauna in the house for your relaxation.
From the cabin, you can enjoy a stunning view of both the lake and the surrounding mountains. The lake is only 20 meters away and is ideal for both swimming and fishing, with various game fish available.
A motorboat is included in the rental, allowing you to explore the lake at your leisure.
The nearest shops and grocery stores are in Föllinge, approximately 35 km away.
The closest city is Östersund, about 90 km from the cabin.
The cabin is surrounded by vast forests, perfect for picking berries and mushrooms. Several hiking trails are nearby, including the Flower Trail to Blomsterfjället (Flower Mountain) and Ansätten.
During the winter, snowmobiles are available for rent at the hotel, which is located about 2.5 km from the cabin. Additionally, the Åkersjön downhill ski slope is approximately 6 km away.
Fishing, both summer and wintertime, with a chance to catch trout and char in Lake Åkersjön. Fishing licenses can be purchased at ifiske.se
There are mountain ponds, lakes and Åkerån's flowing water with nearly a mile of trout fishing and small game hunting.
Lake Åkersjön is located along the Fishing-Road and is also included in the Fishing-Road License, which gives you 13 miles of fishing between Krokom and the Norwegian border. The Fishing-Road License can be purchased at https://www.ifiske.se/fiske-fiskevagenkortet.htm
