This nice cabin is located just outside of Östersund in Jämtland, with a beautiful view of Lake Storsjön and Frösön Island. It is close to everything, but above all to the lake, which is 50 meters from the cabin.
The cabin was built in 2019.
It has an open floor plan with a kitchen, a dining area and a comfortable sofa with the option of relaxing or watching TV.

There is also a loft with a sofa bed that pulls out to a double bed.
In front of the cabin there is a large terrace with a dining area, a barbeque grill and a corner to rest in. There is a separate small garden area directly adjacent to the terrace where lettuce, spices and flowers are grown. From the cabin you have a beautiful view of Lake Storsjön and on the other side you can see beautiful Frösön Island.
2 bicycles are available to borrow and a rowing boat can be rented.
There is a shop in the area, which is about 500 m from the cabin.
It is about 15 km to Åre/Östersund Airport.
The nearest town is Östersund, approximately 4 km.
It is 3.6 km to Östersund Ski Stadium.
In the surroundings there are beautiful nature areas, of course there are also hiking trails. It is walking distance to outdoor museum Jamtli which has three museums in one place. Take the slide through the Lake Monster Storsjöodjuret down to one of Sweden's most exciting exhibitions. Here the history of Jämtland and Härjedalen is presented and items from our large collection from the mysterious Viking Age collections are shown.
In winter time, you can go cross-country skiing on Lake Storsjön or take a ski trip at one of the trails in Östersund. The ski stadium in Östersund is world-renowned for annually hosting the Biathlon World Cup with the entire world elite in place.
The nearest slalom slope is called Gustavsbergs Backen and it is 5km from the cabin. The Christmas market at Jamtli is an experience you must not miss, 2nd Advent every year.
It is 3 km to the Tysjöarna nature reserve. The Nature Reserve is known for its many bird species that nest there in the springtime. You can also see beautiful Orchids if you walk around Lake Tysjöarna.
It is 19 km to the Moose Garden, where you can get a guided tour and meet moose up close. You can pet and feed them.
