It is 1 km to Ekenäs harbor. There is a nice brewery café with lovely outdoor seating, WIFI, and small convenience store if you want to buy e.g. grilled sausage, ice cream or smoked fish. The guest harbor also serves good hot food and alcohol. From time to time, Troubadour evenings are organized. It is also very nice to canoe among the many beautiful islands nearby. (Can be rented in the harbor during the summer.) The archipelago is incredibly beautiful here! During the summer, boat trips depart daily from the port to Lurö. Other tours, for example to Läckö Castle, are booked by appointment. 4 km from the house there are rock carvings from the Viking Age. There is a nice hiking trail along the water and if you like to pick berries and mushrooms. There is a lot of wildlife in the area. You have good opportunities to see both deer and moose from the garden.

Perch, pike, salmon and pikeperch are fished. Fishing license is not required.
