Family-Friendly, Newly renovated (spring 2017) timbered cabin in beautiful Värmland.
The cabin is located by the lake with a dock for swimming and fishing. The cabin is located 150 meters from the lake with a nice view of the water.
Large patio of 22 square meters to the southwest.
Rich animal and bird life. Moose and deer are often spotted. Large forest areas with great opportunities for biking, hiking, picking berries and mushrooms.
Fishing in many streams and lakes nearby. 150 m from the cabin is a lake with a dock, available for both swimming and fishing. We have areas for various ball games, frisbee, paddle, as well as bicycles and canoes. All free of charge.

Free fishing in three lakes:

• One lake with a free rowing boat.
• One lake with a motorboat for SEK 500, including fuel.
• One lake without a boat.

Close to 2 shopping centers with various shops and several restaurants in Tøcksfors. The nearest Swedish city is Karlstad (133 km). It is only 10 km to the Norwegian border, to Oslo it is 100 km.
The cabin has 2 floors and 4 beds. On the ground floor there is an open floor plan with kitchen and living room.
There is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with one bed and one with 3 beds.
Large yard and lawn with barbecue and fireplace. Parking by the cabin.
Timbered guest cabin with 3 beds (100 meters from the cabin) can be rented.

Quiet and peaceful area with few neighbors. The homeowner is your neighbor.

Fredrikstad - Old Town - Whales: Visit one of Norway's most popular attractions. Northern Europe's best preserved fortress town. Founded 1567. (85 km).
From the Old Town to one of Norway's coastal pearls - Hvaler / Skjærhallen, it is only 20 km where most of the trip takes place in the archipelago with the ocean on both sides of the road. Great restaurant by the ocean with, among other things, local fish soup.

Halden - Fredriksten fortress: Halden is the border town between Sweden and Norway. Beautiful bridges (new and old) bind the two countries together at the border. Halden Fortress is an old fortification built in 1660. The fortress was attacked a number of times but never taken. (75 km)

In the lake which is 150 meters from the cabin there is a dock you can fish from. Free fishing in the lake. Pike and perch are mainly fished. Simple boat with motor (max 4 people) and canoe. Good fishing in several lakes nearby. Fishing licenses can be purchased in Tøcksfors (7 km).
