For those of you who want to feel the peace and get close to alpacas and other farm animals, come and stay in our cozy cabin.
You have a view of the yard from the terrace, with free-range chickens, turkeys, goats and alpacas walking in the pastures. A guided tour into the paddocks is included in the accommodation.
A cozy spa bath in the soaking tub under the treetops is available as an option. It is also possible to order breakfast or coffee.
There are berries and mushrooms growing just around the corner, and a few km from the cabin you'll find the beautiful Örbyhus castle with a fine golf course.
You can choose the guided tour that is included in the accommodation, either in the afternoon when you arrive or the following morning. If you want to book the spa, we need to have that reservation at least 36 hours before arrival. Cost: SEK 300/person. Breakfast packages are available in slightly different options.
A few kilometers from the cottage is Örbyhus castle and a fine golf course. Nearby there are also several uppland mills, such as Österbybruk.
The cottage is located in Vendel, which has given its name to the Vendel era and several historical places can be visited.
A short walk from the cabin you'll find forests with plenty of both mushrooms and berries.
It is about 10 km to Örbyhus, where there is, among other things, a grocery store and a commuter train that takes you to both Uppsala or Tierp/Gävle.
