Description of the cabin

Fresh cabin built in 2010. The cabin is adjacent to another cabin on a farm in the lovely province of Småland in Sweden. From the cabin you have a view of the pasture with grazing cows in summer and the lake a little further away. Many small roads around for bicycling and walking, nice mushroom and berry fields. Cranes are both seen and heard sometimes and moose, deer and hares can be seen, usually early morning or late afternoon. No animals on the farm except dogs and cats. The cabin is for rent all year round. Washer and dryer are in the storage rooms between the houses. The cabin has its own furnished stone patio with garden furniture and barbeque grill. A large common lawn for the 2 houses of about 4000 m2 for games and exercise. The inflow to the Emån stream system flows into one edge of the garden. To the lake it is about 1 km, here is a nice swimming area with sandy beach, grass and dock. There is also a popular restaurant and campsite. Also excellent fishing in the lake (fishing license).

This is an active countryside.
1 km to a country store where there is also a sports hall with a small gym. 7 km to Bodafors with Emån's Eco-Museum. 13 km to Sävsjö with adventure pool. 28 km to the wooden house town Eksjö with many places to visit. In addition, Astrid Lindgren's world (approx. 150 km), Utvandrarnas House in Växjö (90 km) Glass country and High Chaparral are good day trips. Jönköping 60 km) Bird tower for bird watching, the great Bittern can sometimes be heard in the evenings. Many nice bike paths in the surroundings. Nice forests for walks.

The accommodation is spacious enough for four people and the apartment was clean. It is very convenient that there is a free laundry facility as well as a tumble dryer available for guests to use. Maj-Inger is a very friendly and lovely host! We would be very happy to return to this little paradise!

The accommodation had everything we needed and was clean and nice. The garden is huge and offers plenty of space for playing and running around. The price-performance ratio is really good here.
