You arrive in a peaceful area where I live all year round, surrounded by summer cottages close to the water, and here you stay comfortably with a view over the sea bay.
The house has 6 beds in four bedrooms. Large living room and open-plan layout. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave oven, and dishwasher. Large bathroom with shower, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Fresh, good water from a deep drilled well.
We are 50 metres from a small sandy beach, shallow at first and then becoming deep quite suddenly. There are great opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, or using a boat, which is included in the price.
A lovely pine forest is perfect for walks. There are also opportunities for berry picking, skiing, and fishing, all depending on the season. Fantastic sunsets over the bay. The plot gets sun almost all day.
It is possible to put out a ramp so you can get up onto the terrace and thereby into the house, where everything is on one level. The toilet is adapted for disabled guests.
If it gets a little chilly sometimes or if the weather is rainy, you can simply light the wood-burning stove. During the colder seasons, I have waterborne underfloor heating heated with pellets.
The cottage is located just outside Härnösand in the High Coast World Heritage area.
