Småland 2222 - Nice cabin in an idyllic location

Location: The cabin is located in the village Rosenfors with about 280 inhabitants in Kalmar in eastern Småland. It takes approx. 4 hours to get to the Öresund Bridge or Trelleborg city. Rosenfors is a historic place in Hultsfred municipality, it is located between the fish-rich rivers Silverån and Emån. In the area there are many beautiful lakes to swim, fish and go boating on.
The house is located between Vimmerby in the north, Vetlanda in the east and Oskarshamn and the Baltic Sea in the southeast. The cabin is quiet and far from noisy highways. The cabin has a 4,150 m2 yard with a garden pond of 1,100 m2.
Directly behind the cabin begins a forest area that is approx. 40 km long and extends almost all the way to the Baltic Sea. Here you can walk and cycle and during late summer / autumn pick berries and mushrooms.

The cabin: You live on approx. 60 m2 in the house which was built around 1945 and newly renovated. It was beautifully renovated in Småland style, which gives the house its special charm. Fresh and fully equipped kitchen in a country style.
The house can be rented all year round, there is an energy-saving air heat pump for heating in the house, but it can also provide cooling in the summer. The house has energy-saving lamps, smoke alarms and alarms. The house is renovated annually to keep it in good condition. Indoors, only water-soluble and environmentally friendly colors are used, and the solid wood floor is also treated with environmentally friendly natural oils.

The Swedish bedding is size 155 X 210 cm and 40 X 60 cm. Smoking and fur animals are not allowed in the house. The house is well suited for allergy sufferers. Arrival from 17 and departure no later than kl. 10.

Winter in Eastern Småland is beautiful and charming in a fantastic winter landscape. It invites you to wonderful walks in the snow, skiing, ice fishing and much more.

In wintertime, there are several partially lit ski slopes and cross-country ski trails in the area, such as Dackestupet in Virserum, 18 km from the cabin.

Within a radius of 20 km you will find other cross-country skiing tracks, some of which are lighted, for instance in Målilla, Mörlunda, Järnforsen and Hultsfred.
