The house was completed in the fall of 2020 in the middle of the World Heritage High Coast area. The accommodation is on one level and is built with a focus on socializing. Open floor plan between kitchen and living room, smaller bedroom. Large windows facing the ocean, in a southwesterly direction.
The cabin has air conditioning/AC for hot summer days.
The nearest neighbor is a vacation home which the host couple owns and which they visit during the year, mainly during the holidays. The property has a garage that is completely managed by the owners.
In front of the house there is a green area to enjoy outdoor games etc. on. The cabin is close to the ocean, about 70 m (a bit steep to walk for small children). There is a sandy beach about 5 min walk from the house.
There is also a barbecue area with a nice view of the ocean. A visit to Rotsidan, about a 15 minute walk is a must. Rotsidan is an approximately 4 km long diabase slabs and cobblestone fields in a nature reserve , here you can swim, sunbathe, barbeque at intended place or just sit and enjoy the view.
Bicycles and canoes are available to borrow. For the canoe, there are some life jackets in different sizes.
The house is non-smoking and shoes are not allowed to wear indoors.

Final cleaning can be booked for SEK 900. Please contact the host for inquiries and booking. Guests are, however, always responsible for taking out trash, compost, and recycling, emptying the dishwasher, and cleaning the fireplace.
The high coast has several nice hiking trails. The high coast trail (Nearest starting point Nordingrå 13.4 km) or the World Heritage Trail that passes by the house, are the longer trails. There are also nice day trips to take if you just start from the house.
A visit to Skuleberget (41.4 km) is recommended with a nice hike both up to the top or in Skule National Park. Or why not try mountain climbing Via ferrata up Skule mountain.
A trip to the island of Högbonden can entertain an entire family. Nice environment and in summer lighter meals are served on the island. The boat to Högbonden depart from Barsta (5.4 km from the cabin) and Bönhamn (9.2 km fromthe cabin) . Bönhamn is a small picturesque old fishing village that you can visit. There is a swimming area and a café.
We recommend a lunch excursion to Gårdsbutiken (10.6 km) which has good food and some shopping for both big and small.
If you want to have a good dinner, you can choose between a few restaurants in Norrfällsviken (26.9 km). Here you can stroll for a while among boathouses and houses. In the summer there is a swimming pool open at the campsite. There is also a mini golf course.
If you are interested in stronger drinks, the High Coast Distillery is not too far from the house (47.1 km). They serve lunch and dinner.
It is a little further to Härnö Gin (70.3 km) if you want to visit it.
There are several coffee shops and flea markets within a couple of miles that are open during the summer.

There are several hiking trails that are popular even in winter.
