The cabin is a small compact living cabin with a nice lake view. Inside the cabin there is a dining table with two chairs, a kitchen island with hotplates and microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is an armchair and a small sofa. Drinking water is available in cans. Charming dry toilet is just outside the cabin There is electricity and cell phone coverage. A soapstone stove is available for "cozy heating" otherwise electrical radiators if needed. In the yard there is a dock and swimming opportunity. A wood-fired sauna is located next to the dock. Hälsingland's large forests are around the corner. There are blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms. The shelter is located in a bay by Galvån-stream. Around the bay there are 10 yards with houses. The nearest house is 30 meters from the cabin.

In Hälsingland, for example, there are UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. The nearest is called Gästgivars in Orbaden, about 15 km. In Arbrå, 10 km, is Träslottet/wood castle. A Hälsinge farm with restaurant, café and exhibitions. Järvzoo in Järvsö, 50 km is a Nordic wildlife park with, among other things, the "five big" predators.
