In Sjötorp, you can enjoy illuminated exercise tracks, perfect for skiing when there's snow. You can also walk, bike, or, in some areas, drive along the canal.
In Lyrestad (7 km from Sjötorp), there are additional lighted ski trails and a small ski/bobsled run for children.
In Otterbäcken (10 km from Sjötorp), you'll find an artificial ice rink.

The bus stop is only a few hundred meters from the cabin.
By Train:
You can take a train to Mariestad or Töreboda, both 20 kilometers away. From there, the owner can pick you up by car upon arrangement.
By Boat:
The cabin is just a few hundred meters from the harbor in Sjötorp.
Lake Vänern offers a variety of fish species, making it a fantastic location for fishing.
In early spring and fall, trolling from boats is very common.
During the summer, you can fish using a rod or a casting rod for perch, pike, pikeperch, and whitefish.
Right by the cabin, you can fish directly from the jetty. In the lake, fishing from a boat is allowed and free of charge as long as you're at least 300 meters from the shore.
