Södermanland is located directly south of Stockholm, Sweden's capital, between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. The easternmost part of Södermanland is the large peninsula Södertörn. ►There are plenty of nice hiking and biking trails, and both Lake Mälaren and the coast offer lots of water sports and boat excursions. How about a bike ride on the beautiful Näckrosleden or hiking on the 1000 km long Sörmlandsleden? Here you can advantageously have your cabin as a starting point and hike a couple of stages, then rest when you feel you need a break.
