Funäsdalen
Funäsdalen is a popular tourist resort near the Norwegian border. Here the views are spectacular and it has a charming community that revolves around skiing and various other activities. Here you can, among other things, visit the oldest community center (homestead museum) in Sweden from 1894. In Funäsdalen you can also visit Härjedalens mountain museum.
Hede
The river Ljusnan flows through Hede, which gives the town its character. In Hede you have a beautiful view of Sonfjället. There is also a homestead/community center with a unique vestibule.
Lillhärdal
Lillhärdal is known for the witch trial that prevailed in the 17th century in Sweden, here is a historical museum that tells you about this horrific event. You can also visit the village Högen, with well-preserved cottages and houses from the 17th century.
