Västmanland 2788 - Croft with a nice view of the field and lake

With the forest on one side and open fields on the opposite, you live here in silence. For those who want to hike in the forest, the path begins right outside the house. Look for berries and mushrooms or just walk. Try a long walk or jog on the meadow road between the fields under large deciduous trees. A trip around the lake offers wide views and during spring, summer and autumn, animals graze on the lake shore. In and around the lake, those interested in birds can see many different species.

The croft from the 1870s is invisible with its own porch and garden facing the lake and fields. Equipped with modern necessities, working wood burning stove and cast iron stove.
In the host family's garden at the back of the croft, children are welcome to use the swing, sandpit and jungle gym with a slide.
The croft consists of a large kitchen with table, kitchen sofa and chairs and space for at least five people. Refrigerator and freezer, stove and microwave oven - or for those who want - wood burning stove.
The combined living room and bedroom have two single beds, sofa, TV and a cast iron stove to use. The bathroom has a shower and combustion toilet.
High chair and crib are available if desired.

For the couple, friends or family with children, there is time to be together and activities that belong to the country. Borrow the rowing boat and take a fishing trip in the river. Look for birds. Or rest on the porch.

 It is 600 m to the river and the lake by boat, here you can fish. (not a swimming lake)

When the snow has fallen and the temperature shows minus degrees, the cabin is suitable for winter coziness. Set a fire in the the wood burning stove, and try to cook on it, or light a candle and rest on the kitchen sofa after a walk under snow-laden spruces in the forest.
In the winter, the outdoor are suitable for sausage grilling, there is a barbeque area next to the cabin. With a little luck, there's ice on the lake and invites you to go ice skating.

Good to know, In the area's villages there is a farm shop and plenty of flea markets.
A few kilometers from the cabin is a child-friendly beach and a heated pool and playground.
An excursion to Nora or Arboga provides cozy activities for young and old.
The host family lives close by and can answer questions about what Finnåker has to offer.
