The charming Falu-red old log cabin is located in the countryside just outside Norberg in the heart of Bergslagen. It originally served as the farm's barn, but was converted in the 60's into a guest house.
An airy large living room with two beds (can be put together into a double bed), kitchenette, dining table with chairs and sofa group with TV and VHS, wardrobe and chest with drawers for clothes.
Outside the living room there is a large room and entrance, where there is a bunk bed with 120 cm lower sleeping, and a bed that is 110 wide and 180 long (suitable for 1-2 children / youth). There is also a fridge / freezer. No water or sewage in the cabin. The cabin is suitable for 2-6 people.
The cabin shares a yard with ID 2162 and 2163. WC, shower, laundry room, water tap and wood-fired sauna are in a common building 10-20 m from the cabin. Close to swimming and fishing, 300 m to the nearest lake with space for both swimming and fishing. Stocked fish is 5 km from the cabin. It is 1500 m to Lake Boten's swimming area and 3 km into Norbergs camping with a great swimming area with docks, playground and simple dining, canoe and boat rental.
It is walking distance to nice berry and mushroom forests, 300m from the houses. Good training opportunities; for those who enjoy walking, hiking, jogging, cycling or skiing. The Engelbrekt race passes right outside the yard, for those who want to compete in running, mountain biking or cross-country skiing.
It is 4 km to charming Norberg dating from the 13th century. Here you will find everything you need, such as a library, health center, Systembolag/liquor store, Pharmacy, ICA and COOP grocery stores. As well as old Abrahamsgården and famous Elsa Andersson's patisserie, which you have to visit!
Travel time from Stockholm about 2 hours, from Västerås about 1 hour.
