Description of the cabin
This is the place for you who want peace and quiet in the countryside and enjoy the Swedish summer, when it is at its best! The Falu red cabin is located in the countryside just outside of Norberg in the heart of Bergslagen. The cabin consists of a room with a large 160 bed and bar table with two chairs, wardrobe, TV and kitchenette, no running water, but there are drains. Suitable for 1-2 people. The cabin shares a yard with ID 2163 and 2164. WC, shower, laundry room, water tap and wood-fired sauna are in a common building 10-20 m from the cabin. Close to swimming and fishing, we have 300 m down to the nearest lake with space for swimming and fishing. Stocked fish is 5 km from the cabin. It is 1500 m to Lake Boten's swimming area and 3 km into Norbergs camping with a public swimming area with docks, playground and simple dining, as well as canoe and boat rental. In the forest 300m from the cabin you'll find nice berry and mushroom fields. Good training opportunities; for those who enjoy walking, hiking, jogging, bicycling or skiing. The Engelbrekt race passes right outside the site for those who want to compete in running, mountain biking or cross-country skiing. It is 4 km to charming town of Norberg dating from the 13th century. Here you will find everything you need, such as a library, health center, Systembolag, Pharmacy, ICA and COOP grocery stores. As well as old Abrahamsgården and famous Elsa Andersson's patisserie, which you must visit! Travel time from Stockholm about 2 hours, from Västerås about 1 hour.
