A cozy cottage with a separate kitchen, bathroom, and a small bedroom with two single beds. The livingroom has a Sofabed transforming into a double bed. Quiet location in a summer cottage hamlet - near the lake and the woods.
The garden is fenced so dogs may run around freely as long as you pick up after the dog. The lake is usually warm enough for a swim! If you want to swim with the dog, there is a dedicated place where this is allowed.
Blueberries and mushrooms can be picked in the nearby woods late summer. If it becomes chilly, there is a fireplace in the cottage.
Hjo is a small, picturesque town where you can find all you need - including shops, restaurants, a huge city park, free outdoor swimming pools, a harbour, a tourist office, museums, an experimental activities house for the younger ones and various events throughout the summer.
Hökensås offers both a golf course and the possibility to rent a lake for fishing. Hjo is situated by lake Vättern, second biggest lake in Sweden, so there is also an old steamboat offering tours. Hjo is only 8 km from the cottage and there is also the possibility of course to swim in lake Vättern!
