This cabin in the province of Värmland, Central Sweden, boasts a fantastic location on its own headland, with the nearest neighbor 500 meters away. Lake Brocken is just 40 meters on one side and 60 meters on the other, offering a private, lovely beach for all ages to enjoy.
The spacious living room features comfortable furniture, satellite TV, a video player, and a cozy fireplace—perfect for warm, inviting summer evenings. In front of the cabin, you'll find garden furniture on a large terrace, providing beautiful views of the lake.
Electricity consumption is billed separately. The meter is read upon arrival and departure, and charges are based on usage.
For those traveling by electric car, there is a charging station at the vacation home. To use it, please contact the owner for an electronic key. There is an additional fee for using the charging station.
Please note that electric cars must not be charged with standard household electricity, as it poses a fire hazard.
Summer activities: Fishing, swimming, hiking, nature experiences, and boat or canoe trips.
Winter activities: Skiing. The nearest ski resort is Hovfjället (www.hovfjallet.se), located about 8 km from the cabin. In addition to approximately 16 slopes, Hovfjället is also one of Sweden's best cross-country skiing areas.
About 45 minutes from the cabin, you'll find one of the largest ski resorts in Sweden, Branäs (www.branas.se).
The Sälen area is around 1 ½ hours away.
During a typical winter, you can enjoy winter fishing and even ice skating if there’s not too much snow. Sometimes a skating rink is plowed on the lake's ice.
If the ice conditions are good, the owner often uses a snowmobile to create tracks for cross-country skiing.
In Torsby, there's an indoor ski tunnel available year-round, even in the summer.
The lake is well suited for fishing, you need a fishing license to fish. The fishing license is relatively cheap.
Everything except grayling is in the lake by the cabin. Grayling is found in nearby streams.
