The cabin is situated on a large forest plot about 15 meters from Lake Isesjøen (see map). Isesjøen is a large lake approximately 6 kilometers long and 2.5 kilometers wide. From Isesjøen, you can access a smaller lake, Rødsjøen (see map), via a short river by boat. Both lakes offer excellent fishing with plenty of large fish. Great swimming opportunities in clean water. Rich wildlife and birdlife, as well as plenty of mushrooms and berries right outside the cabin. Child-friendly plot.
The cabin can be reached either on foot via a good forest road (about 1200 meters) from the parking area or by boat (about 10 minutes) from the parking area. A boat is available at the parking area upon request. Electric car charging is possible by arrangement.
The cabin is approximately 40 square meters and has two separate bedrooms with a total of 4 beds. On the property, there is a detached cabin of about 25 square meters with two beds and a toilet.
Running water: No. A water purification filter is available in the cabin.
Electricity/solar: Yes. 12 volts. Own USB charger for mobile phones.
Outdoor toilet: Yes. Private outhouse plus gas-powered toilet in the annex.
Bath/sauna: Wood-heated sauna from December 1, 2025.
Consumables: Firewood for sauna, cabin and barbecue area 75:-per bag.
Charcoal can be purchased on site: 2.5 kg bag for 50:-. Payment is settled upon departure according to consumption.
Additional services: Transport from parking lot to and from the cabin available on request. 300 SEK per trip.
Other: Own launching area for boats / free parking if the guest brings their own boat. Canoe available, free to use.
The cabin has a refrigerator and stove powered by gas. Other electricity comes from solar panels and a generator.
The cabin has two separate bedrooms.
Year-round rental with good ice fishing in winter, provided the lake ice is safe.
Sunny plot with covered terrace at both cabins.
Short distance to Sweden (about 30 minutes) and Oslo (about 75 minutes).
