Description of the cabin

Wonderful winter cabin in the heart of Värmland province. Here is everything you can think of regarding forest and nature, and immediate proximity to Lake Rådasjön. The cabin is fully equipped with kitchenware, dishwasher and a washing machine. Two cozy bedrooms on the second floor, one with a balcony from which you have a fantastic view of the lake and the mountains.

The nearest neighbor is Herrgården/the manor where the owner lives, it is about 100 meters between the houses. Own well-defined garden with berry bushes and fruit trees. Own road to the house and own garage.

Pets are most welcome.

Tourists attractions

Close proximity to ski resorts in both Ekshärad and Torsby.

Immediate proximity to the unique Klarälvsbanan, the 100 km long bicycle path that connects Uddeholm with Karlstad.

5 minutes drive to grocery store, 10 minutes drive to Hagfors which has all community services.

Hagfors 9 km.

Ekshärad 17 km.

Ekshärad moose park 20 km.

Torsby 50 km.

About fishing

You can fish in Lake Rådasjön below the cabin. Rest areas are available. A fishing license is required, which can be purchased at the local ICA grocery store Björnbyn & Åhströms in Råda, approx. 2 km from the cabin. Valid May 1-August 31.

It is possible to buy a fishing license via QR code out by the lake to use in many other lakes nearby.

Bedroom 1. Lovely large bedroom on the second floor with two single beds, balcony with lake view. South facing. Good storage options in the form of large closets. Bedroom 2. Cozy room on the second floor. Two single beds, large wardrobe.

Frida and her family are such wonderful landlords, the welcome is warm and they are always there for their guests if anything should happen. The house has great charm, offers enough space for 4 people, and has 2 bathrooms. It may be a bit old, but everything was clean. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The wonderful view of the lake is fantastic, nature has soooooooooo beautiful gifts for us humans that we should take much more notice of. The nice cafe run by the landlady is highly recommended, home-made cakes are simply delicious, with a view of the lake. The bike path along the lake with an e-bike is no problem, with the car you can explore some places worth seeing, waterfalls and lakes. Sweden, we'll be back, and this time we won't wait 10 years. The landlady runs a romantic little café on the beautiful property (Thursdays and Sundays). Wonderful for a family vacation.
