Newly renovated cabin (2018) in beautiful Värmland. The cabin is located by the lake with a dock for swimming and fishing. The cabin is located 200 meters from the lake (Torpetjärn). Rich animal and bird life. On open land you often see moose and deer. Large forest areas with great opportunities for biking, hiking, picking berries and mushrooms.
Fishing in many streams and lakes nearby. 200 m from the cabin is a lake with a dock, available for both swimming and fishing. There is a private boat that is included in the rent. Engine can be rented for the boat for SEK 400/week incl. gasoline.
There is also a canoe for 3 people at the lake and a rowing boat at another lake, 500 meters from the cabin. They are included in the rent and are shared with cabin 2246.
Close to 2 shopping centers with various shops and several restaurants in Tøcksfors. The nearest Swedish city is Karlstad (133 km). It is only 10 km to the Norwegian border, to Oslo it is 100 km.
The cabin has 2 floors and 6 beds.
On the 1st floor there is a living room with stove, kitchen with dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator, microwave oven and counter. Private room with washing machine.
There is a bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and wardrobe.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with single beds, 1 with 1 bed, one with 2 beds and one with 3 beds.
Lawn and large yard with a barbecue grill and fireplace. Parking by the cabin.
Quiet and peaceful area with few neighbors. The homeowner lives close as your neighbor.
There is a free-standing sauna that you can use, it is shared with cabin 2246. The sauna was built in 2021/2022.
Cabin 2246 is nearby if you are several families who want to vacation together.

Töcksfors 10 km.
Glaskogen Nature reserve: Hiking trail, canoe trail, moose safari etc. (45 km)
Many market days and horse trotting in Årjäng (approx. 20 km)
Karlstad: Swedish city with approx. 100,000 inhabitants (133 km)
Dalsland Canal: Boat trip on the Dalsland Canal. Water Locks through aqueduct. (60 km).
Norway:
Fredrikstad - Gamlebyen - Hvaler: Visit one of Norway's most popular attractions. Northern Europe's best preserved fortress village. Founded 1567. (85 km).
From the Old Town to one of Norway's coastal pearls - Hvaler / Skjærhallen, it is approx. 20 km where most of the journey takes place in the archipelago with sea on both sides of the road. Large restaurant on the beach walkway with a local fish soup.
Halden - Fredriksten Fortress: Halden is the border town between Sweden and Norway. Large bridges (new and old) connect the two countries at the border. Halden Fortress is an old defense building built in 1660. The fortress was attacked a number of times but never taken. (75 km)
In the lake which is 200 meters from the cabin there is a dock you can fish from. Free fishing in the lake. Pike and perch are mainly fished. Simple boat with motor (max 4 people) and a canoe. Good fishing in several lakes nearby. Fishing licenses can be purchased in Tøcksfors (7 km).
