Stockholm 2972 Cabin in a quiet location with a lake yard outside of Åkersberga

South-facing summer house with a lake view on a large private lake and a forest yard in a quiet, scenic area. Only 15 minutes from Åkersberga C with shops and amenities and 40 minutes from Stockholm. Fiber and internet are available.

Live in the countryside in your own summer house, only 40 minutes drive to Stockholm. The house is located on a 6,000 m2 forest yard next to Lake Kvarnsjön with its own dock and rowing boat. However, shallow and with vegetation, not so swimming-friendly but with a lovely dock to hang out on. There is a good swimming dock approx. 300m further away. Broadband via fiber (100/100) makes it easy to work from home. It is quiet and peaceful here and you can enjoy a rich bird and nature life.

The house is 54 square meters big divided into two bedrooms (4 beds in total), kitchen, living room with fireplace, bathroom and a laundry room. There is furniture such as a sofa, an armchair and a dining table in the living room. A nice large sunny terrace in the south with outdoor furniture. A barbeque grill for cozy evenings.

In close proximity to nice swimming areas. Both cliff swimming and nice beaches with docks. 1km walk to the Baltic Sea. Bus stop approx. 300 m from the house. About 40 minutes by car to Stockholm. 15 minutes to the center of Åkersberga, where there is a large selection of shopping and grocery stores.

Rented weekly to a maximum of 4 people. Smoke and pet free! Bring your own sheets and towels. Not for any parties. A deposit of SEK 2,000 is taken in connection with the booking, which is returned on departure, provided that everything is complete and clean.

The house/yard is NOT suitable for families with small children as it is partly hilly with high edges.

There are many tourist attractions nearby.

Wira bruk: located in southern Roslagen (10 km from the cabin) and was one of the country's most important gunsmiths in the 17th and 18th centuries. Here, the blacksmith shop and the restaurant are open all year round.

At Österbybruk in northern Roslagen, you can stroll through old Walloon farm environments and visit the Orangery Garden where the spring plantings are now being planned. Several almost forgotten species of flowers and vegetables grow here.

Also take the opportunity to go to a concert at Österbybruk's mansion.

Roslagsleden: is 19 kilometers long and stretches from Danderyd in the south to Grisslehamn in the north. The trail is divided into 11 stages and runs through Roslagens vibrant countryside, enriching mill environments, exciting small towns and in exciting archipelago landscapes.

Åkersberga Golf Club is approx. 9 km from the cabin. The course was designed by Bengt Lorichs, who used nature in a masterful way when he created it. Many players are impressed by how such a seemingly simple course can offer such great challenges. At Åkersberga GK, the rough area is thoughtfully cut down, the forest is thinned and the pastures are grazed by sheep; all for you to find your occasional lopsided balls. But the challenges remain.

Roslagen's archipelago: You can rent various boats that you can take out into the archipelago at Dyviks marina, which is 3.5 km from the house. In Dyvik there is also a cozy cafe by the water.

It is fine to fish in the lake for those who want to. I don't know what fish live there.
