Description of the cabin

Beautiful view of the lake - the cabin is located in fantastic Småland nature. The house is newly built in 2020. A 'croft' with all amenities.

Washing and dishwasher, wood burning stove, TV & internet.

There is a sauna in a separate building. Price for firewood if you want to use the sauna/fireplace: SEK 500.

There is a rowing boat for 3 people and 2 SUPs that can be rented.

Life jackets are available in the house.

Max 5 people as there is only one WC.

Minimum rental is 3 nights.

Tourists attractions

The house is approx. 30 minutes from Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's world.

It is 12 km to Mariannelund.

It is 20 minutes to Eksjö.

The nearest ICA grocery store is in Hjältevad, 6 km from the cabin.

Vimmerby 36 km.

Lake Bellen is 200 m away.

The holiday home is very charming. The location is fantastic. In front of the wonderful terrace is the sheep pasture and the lake. A fantastic view. In the immediate vicinity there is a beautiful forest for walking. Absolute peace and quiet. Swimming directly outside the door is not possible. You are not allowed to walk across the sheep pasture. The house is also very well equipped inside, bright and friendly. Unfortunately it was not quite as clean as we would have liked. The location is also great. It is a 30-minute drive to Vimmerby and the Astrid Lindgren World (highly recommended, although not exactly cheap). The Filmbyn (film museum) in Mariannelund can be reached in 15 minutes and there is a wonderful walking path in the middle of the forest and a lake for swimming. If you want to go on guided bike tours (also bookable in Mariannelund) to Astrid Lindgren filming locations, you have to book them in good time. You can also quickly get to Eksjö (charming wooden town) or the national park. Some moose parks (which were already closed during our stay/September) are also easily accessible. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a charming house, this is the place for you. After our 5-day trip to Stockholm, this house was a perfect place for us to relax. I think I will come back! The landlady is also very nice and helpful.

The house is absolutely beautiful, modern and stylishly furnished, but still very cozy. Everything you need is there. The view is very beautiful!!! The description matches the house, the landlady is very nice and friendly!! The fireplace and sauna are great in bad weather (unfortunately not cleaned by the previous guests or whoever used it). There is no direct access to the lake, but that is what the description says. We didn't have swimming weather and our "target fish" wasn't in the lake, so that wasn't a problem. Absolutely recommended!! 👌
