Description of the cabin

Vacation home with ocean views, private dock and beach with the possibility of fishing at Finnfjärden, St: Anna archipelago, Baltic Sea.

Large covered patio, garden furniture, private location, natural yard with grass, pine and leaf trees. Large living room with sofa group, dining area and fireplace, TV. Kitchen with stove and oven. 1 ordinary large bedroom with double bed and 2 smaller rooms with bunk beds and a single bed. Smaller bathroom with shower. Fixed broadband 100Mb / s and air heat pump with AC.

Available to rent a rowing boat and bicycles.

Tourists attractions

Proximity to child-friendly sandy beaches, as well as rental of kayaks, boats and jet skis about 5 km. Boat trips to the fishing village Harstena, and the boat archipelago line Arkösund-Gryt. Hiking trail in nature reserve 1 km from the cabin.

Farm shop with cafe 1 km, restaurant about 8 km, Stegeborg castle ruin 25 km, Archipelago Chapel Capella Ecumenica.
Göta Canal and the idyllic small town Söderköping known from the German Inga Lindström films as Charlottenberg, 42km.

Norrköping with visualization center 50 min drive and Kolmården Zoo outside Norrköping. Söderköpings Golfklubb 48 km.

Car to Stockholm with all its attractions the castle, Wasa museum etc. takes 2.5 hours.

To Vimmerby it is approx. 135 km, it takes approx. 2 hours by car from the cabin.

Canoe rentals and excursion destinations at sea are nearby for camping. Fresh and frozen fish of various kinds, including smoked fish. A little to think about if you go, as I did, with my old mother. The slope down to the lake is very steep and there are rocks that you could trip on. There is no ladder out on the dock, but with swimming shoes it is easy to get out, you can also stay on the dock if you are unsure. Wonderful with the sea weed. The water was very nice and not very cold. It is possible to get both sun and shade down by the water with the help of the pines. I slept well in my bed but my 83-year-old mother sank into her bed and lay like that all night without being able to turn around. I guess I would not have had a problem if I had slept there. The toilet seat was low, but we could have solved it by having a toilet seat enhancer with us. Plenty of chairs, tables and cushions and a very nice sun lounger. A bit lumpy lawn but we are in nature so that is nothing to talk about. Very nice inside the cabin. We had such good weather so we never had to light a fire in the fireplace. Air heat pump that provides both heat and cooling when needed. Proper roof over the patio so you can sit outside even if there is a shower. My mother mostly sat up by the house and enjoyed the view while the sun warmed her old body. Highly recommended.
