The cabin is a farmhouse and on the other side of the yard is the house, which I live in. We grow vegetables and stem/root vegetables for self-catering on the farm. Wild herbs and berries are also available.
The log cabin is located a short distance from the small stream Venetjoki. Here you can both swim and fish.
Just behind the log cabin is the forest with both lush spruce forest and flowering meadows. Here you will find nice areas to sit down and look out over the countryside.
During the summer, there is a Summarcafé very close by, with home-baked coffee bread and you'll have close contact with the village's population. There is also a small village cafe in Byastugan which also has a corner with flea market finds for sell.
Nice opportunities for hiking along paths nearby and cross-country running after several training tracks. There are also good small roads for mountain biking, which take you far out into the wilderness.
In winter, the area is perfect for skiing and snowshoeing!
