Cabin along the fishing road, by Lake Valsjön in Ansättfjällen Mountain
This fine timber cabin was built in the 1960s but has been completely renovated year 2022.
It is customized for winter stay, it has a family room with high ceilings, open fireplace and a high coziness factor.
The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom with a toilet and a shower.
Bedroom and sleeping loft provide space for four people.
A small stream runs next to the cabin and the entire yard is private. Here you can stay in peace if you want.
There is a new hot tub on the plot from July 2023.
In the cabin there is a mini-ping-pong table and several different board games. Outside the cabin a bouncy house (summertime), family-friendly in other words. It is about 400 meters to the cozy grocery store Valsjöbua
Besides fantastic fishing waters, there are several beautiful waterfalls and excellent hiking trails. In the summertime, the fine Myhr Bodarna can be visited. Boats can be rented for lake and fishing trips. It is only 3 km to the Norwegian border if you want to visit our neighboring country.
Valsjöbyn is located along the fishing road (road 340) 130 km northwest of Östersund. There are excellent fishing waters here, both large lakes such as Lake Valsjön and Lake Rengen, but also around 60 pond's. In addition, Toskströmmen with a unique trout stock, Gunnarvassån- stream with large trout and the impressive Rengsfallet waterfall.
