We had a beautiful 1-week stay over new years. The hosts are a very friendly couple who actively helped us with everything we needed to make our stay an awesome experience.
For me, it was the first time seeing such cold temperatures - down to -35°C - and so much snow - over half a meter.
We enjoyed the wood-fired sauna (which just has room for 5 people) in the hut nearly every day and dipped into the specially prepared icehole in the lake which our hosts carefully prepared for us with wooden frame, ladder and foam insulated lid.
We also enjoyed the kick sledges very much, which we used for daily toors around the neighborhood and over the lake.
We definitely hope to come back and can recommend the place wholeheartedly!
P.S.: Although we initially planned to come by public transport, we were quite glad having rented a car in the end since the nearest shop is about 7km away.
