The house is located 500 meters from the center of Vemdalsskalet ski resort with all its facilities, the lift system, ICA grocery store and the bus stop (direct buses from Stockholm, Uppsala and other places). The house is located so that you can go downhill skiing to and from the lifts with a little good will.
The house was newly built in 2019, is very modern and has beds for 6 people. Two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. The cabin is non-smoking. There is a sauna, 42 '' TV, fiber, dishwasher, wood burning stove, glorious mountain views, balcony with outdoor furniture, high coziness factor. The cabin is rented from Sunday to Sunday.
The landlord has two cabins in the same area, perfect if you are two families who want to holiday together.

Skiing & mountain hiking.
As far as Vemdalsskalet in general, versatile skiing is offered here with solid drop heights, extensive track systems and fine trails on the mountain. The area's high altitude and its inland climate means snow security and early season start. Of the total areas of the slopes, about 80 percent cover modern and powerful snow systems, this guarantees good quality throughout the winter. There are four 6-seater express lifts, 55 slopes and 34 lifts in the three ski areas Vemdalsskalet, Björnrike and Klövsjö / Storhogna.
The "proximity" (480 km from Stockholm) and a common Ski Pass for the whole of Vemdalen are other factors that make Vemdalen a popular destination.
