The houses have a fantastic location near the lighthouse at the entrance to Mellanfjärden. The houses have a view towards the harbor and over the open sea. The houses are located in close proximity to the host's home.
Two smaller houses are included: a guest house of 24 sqm, and a dormitory of 10 sqm. In the guest house there is a living room with a dining area, sofa bed (130 cm) and TV, there is also a sleeping area with 2 single beds (90 cm) and a kitchenette and bathroom. Cold and hot water is available, but no shower inside.
The dormitory has a double bed (120 cm) and an extra bed (80 cm).
There is an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) with fantastic ocean views.
The houses have a patio (wooden deck) with a dining area and hammock with superb views of the sea. Parking in close proximity to the houses.
Free shower facilities and access to a washing machine are in the service house at the campsite in Mellanfjärden, approx. 900 m.
Swimming is available in a small bay, Saltspannviken, about 150 from the cabin, and in Koffsand, about 1 km walk through the forest. Insjöbad is possible at Håckstabadet in Jättendalssjön, 5 km from the houses. Sea swimming are also available in Sörfjärden, about 14 km.

In Mellanfjärden there is a small summer shop with groceries and Hamnmagasinet which sells handicrafts. In the harbor there is also the restaurant Sjömärket. Open 11-21 with lunch and a la carte. See http://www.mellanfjarden.se/restaurang/. There is a golf course in Sörfjärden 8.5 km from the cabin. Gränsfors Mill with ax forging and ax museum is 16 km from the cabin.
Dellensjöarna, Hälsingland's blue pearls, is about 37 kilometers from the cabin. Fantastic views of the lakes, forest and mountains from Avholms mountain where there is summer food. Interesting and well-preserved working environments in Moviken's blast furnace and the bar iron hammer in Strömbacka 33 km.
Local fish shop, Vilda fisken, self-service shop with (mostly) self-caught and processed fish is in Rönnskär 24 km.
