Quiet secluded location, approx. 500 m to Österdalälven-river and approx. 3 km to Älvdalen's church village.
Älvdal porphyry and Hagström's guitars are two treasures that left their unique mark on Älvdalen. They can be viewed at the museum in central Älvdalen.

Österdalälven river is the main steam for fly fishing in Älvdalen.
A number of smaller streams, totaling about 200 km, flow through the area.
Most of these waters hold a population of trout and some also grayling.
In addition to grayling and trout fishing in the streams, there are about 400 lakes with good fishing in the area.
Many of these lakes have good stocks of trout and char, in addition to pike and perch.
