The cabin is located on an old style farm shack, sometimes there are horses on the shack, but they do not belong to the landlord. Typically with a shack kitchen, wood burning stove with oven. When it's to warm to make a fire, you can use the camping propane stove. Propane refrigerators are available with a small freezer compartment. The cabin has a cozy fireplace in the main cabin, large family-friendly dining table with room for 6 people. There is also a dining table in the kitchen. 3 fixed beds + 1 extra bed for an adult. There is a travel cot for a small child. Outside you have the possibility of various activities. Kitchen towels and soap are available.
The cabin has 12 volt power, so you can charge your mobile phones. There is only cold water, you have to heat it on the stove. Bed linen can be rented.
The observation tower is a "stone's throw" from the cabin. You can take a day trip to the Siljan area, where there are lots of tourist activities. Gammelgården in Dala-Floda, Dansbandsveckan in Malung, Himlaspelet in Nås, etc.
Hiking trails right nearby, you can hike or bicycle and there is also the opportunity to rest and even spend the night in huts by the trails, if you want to explore further afield.
