Near the cabin there are attractions throughout the year. Ski resorts in both Kläppen and Sälenfjällen are within reasonable distances. Vasaloppet start is 2 km from the cabin. Kläppen 8 km, Sälen 10 km. Experium with entertainment attractions and swimming facilities. Fiskarheden's free outdoor pool during summer time.
