Dalarna 2002 - Guest house in the middle of nature surrounded by a beautiful environment

Here you rent the ground floor of the guest house in Dalarna province in Sweden. The upper floor of the house is rented separately, see ID2003. Here you live in the middle of nature! Have your morning coffee out on the patio and breathe in the fresh air and look out over the fields where the cows graze calmly. Large entrance with a hat shelf. Entrance to private bathroom with shower, from the entrance. Large living room with open floor plan for living room / kitchen / bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven and large sink. Kitchen equipment for cooking and baking is available. A bunk bed and a sofa bed. A kitchen table with seating for four is available. Fireplace in the living room.

A little a stone's throw away are both Trolltjärn and Glatjärn where you can swim as well as fish. Hästängsleden-hiking trail is also a 3-minute walk from the cabin. The trail takes you over ridges and a number of small lakes and ponds in a fantastically beautiful nature reserve! In winter, ski trails are made along the trail. There are good training opportunities here! With both paths and asphalt roads, the area is suitable for both running and roller skiing, not to mention bicycling! If you like orienteering, there is a new orienteering map of the area. For those of you who are wheelchair bound and craving an excursion, there is Storbyhagen which is located approx. 10 km from the farm. There is a wheelchair accessible trail that has two alternative stretches 700 m or 1 km. Along the paths there are information boards about different trees and shrubs and at the end of the trails there are huts with barbeque facilities. Storbyhagen has a rich bird life with many species. There are many fine fishing waters within Vansbro municipality. Västerdalälven, Rutån and Glatjärn are within walking distance from the house and by car there are countless lakes, ponds and flowing streams which have pike, perch and stocked fish such as brook trout and rainbow salmon! In winter, wonderful activities such as cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and ice skating are available. Cross-country ski trails can basically be found outside the door by the house. Cross-country ski trails are made over Hästängsleden- hiking trail, which is a nature reserve and begins just a stone's throw away from the house. Säfsen's ski resort is a 1-hour drive from the house. In addition, Vansbro ice rink offers free skating a few times a week. Vansbro is 6 km from the farm. In the summer there is the opportunity to go to Fårhuscafé and have a coffee right next to the animals, an experience you do not want to miss out on! Fårhuscaféet is 8 km from the house. One of the world's biggest swimming competitions takes place in Vansbro every year in the beginning of July, why not join that folk festival? The horse meadow trail is fantastically nice even in the summer. In Vansbro, Vansbro Äventyr has its starting point. A day trip along the old railway between Vansbro and Mora on the rail road dressage. See strikingly beautiful nature from a new angle!
