Very beautifully situated farm with meadows closest around, followed by wild forest rich in the province of Dalarna in Sweden. The yard is a part of a larger farm with lots of greenery, fruit trees and berry bushes. From the house there is a view of the swimming and fishing lake Dammsjön which is located 150 m below the house. There is a rich presence of wild animals in the fields around the farm and you can see moose, deer, wolves, foxes, hares and large owls outside the cabin. In the large farm kitchen there is an electric stove and wood stove, electric oven and wood burning oven, fridge / freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker. At the swimming area 150 m below the cabin there is a natural beach with sand, gravel and rock bottom. The location is quiet and private. Around the shores of the lake you can also explore other exciting swimming opportunities such as islands and cliffs. There is also a public swimming area with a children's playground by a larger lake, about 3 km from the cabin. Fishing permits in part of the lake are included in the cabin rent. The lake includes pike, perch, roach, rudd and burbot. Smaller rowing boat is included in the price
Tourists attractions
There are many day trip destinations in the region for both nature and culture enthusiasts. There are several nature reserves to roam in, the nearest of which is only about 1 km from the cabin. In the beautiful village Hemshyttan there is a rich cultural environment with a history of iron production from the 12th century to the 19th century. For those interested in culture, there is also the World Heritage Ängelsberg mill and Oljeön - the world's oldest preserved oil refinery, only about 40 minutes drive from the cabin. In the nearest town, classical midsummer celebrations, festivals and craft markets as well as many musical events are arranged annually. The whole of Dalarna with Dala horse production etc. is within day excursion distance. To Falun (central town and cultural center in Dalarna) about 75 km. Fagersta about 16 km.
