Marstrand is located on the two islands Marstrand Island and Cow Island, Cow Island is located closer to the mainland while Marstrand Island is located furthest out towards the ocean in Bohusläns archipelago. The island of Smögen is also called the pearl of the west coast. A big tourist attraction is Smögens incredibly beautiful fishing harbors which is lined with boathouses, cottages, restaurants and picturesque shops.
