Our small cabin accommodates four people and is particularly suitable for a small family with children who are able to climb a ladder to the sleeping loft. The bedroom with two beds has a wood-burning stove and a TV. Half of the cabin is open up to the sleeping loft, which overlooks and connects with the living area. The living area includes a compact kitchenette and a dining area for four people.
The cabin has two entrances: one door leads south from the living room to the courtyard and garden, while the other entrance is on the eastern side and leads through an entrance hall to the tiled shower and toilet room.
There are several sheltered and furnished outdoor seating areas around the cabin. The ceilings and walls are wood-panelled, as is the floor in the bedroom. The remaining floors are made of polished concrete.
The cabin is well equipped for self-catering for four people.
Skaftö is a well-known island of cultural and historical interest in the heart of Bohuslän, surrounded by a beautiful archipelago. It is an old cultural landscape with fishing villages, maritime traditions and a long history as a seaside resort.
Today, Skaftö is primarily a popular summer and tourist island. Its close proximity to the sea and nature offers excellent swimming opportunities, while nature trails and walking paths connect large parts of the island.
The island has well-developed infrastructure and several restaurants and other places to eat. Two grocery stores are open all year round, and frequent ferries cross Gullmarn to Lysekil.
Fishing for mackerel from rocks, jetties or quays is the most common type of fishing if you do not have your own boat for trolling for mackerel.
