Blekinge 2665 - Cozy cabin in a beautiful beech forest by the ocean

 The cabin is located in Vettekulla with a very quiet location, well protected from view and without disturbing elements such as trains, factories or traffic noise.

The cabin of 130 sqm was completed in 2004, in a villa layout with a wooden frame and wood paneling in ceilings and walls. Parquet floors throughout the house. The kitchen and living room have an open common floor plan with dining area, seating areas, TV and fireplace. Adjacent is the terrace with outdoor furniture. The 4 bedrooms are delimited. The kitchen is fully equipped incl. dishwasher and fridge. Toilet with shower is downstairs, washing machine and freezer on the entrance level.

From the cabin to the dock, there's a path that leads through a beautiful beech forest. The boat is located by the dock and there are opportunities to swim, sunbathe and fish directly from the dock.

Child-friendly sandy beach is a couple of kilometers east of Nytäppet or take the boat from the dock to Östra Bokö. Temperate swimming is available in the leisure area called Vägga (7 km).

Immediately north of the cabin there are large forest areas where you can roam freely with the chance for exercise and forest walks. Depending on the season, there will be chances of berries and mushroom picking.

Karlshamn is 7 km away and there are shops, game and fish restaurants etc.
In Vettekulla you experience nature in its proper elements. Here there are opportunities to experience nature, the ocean with approx. 500 islands, cobs and skerries, also nature with forests, lakes and rivers.

Boats:
The rowing boat, which is included in the cabin price is 4.25 x 1.5 meters and approved for 4 people. The engine, for this is a 4.5 hp and costs 650: - / week.
The motorboat that can be rented is 4.60 x 1.65 and approved for 6 people. The engine, for this is a 5 hp. This crew costs 2500: - / week.
Both boats do between 4 and 5 knots, depending on how many people are in the boats.
Cost for fuel (gas + oil) will be added. This can either be bought at the gas station and then you mix it yourself, or the owner can provide ready-mixed fuel according to agreement.

Tours with boats through the archipelago depart from both Matvik (2 km) and Karlshamn (7 km).

Eriksbergs safari park with bison, deer and mouflon sheep, is located approx. 7 km east from the cabin.
Another 10 km to the east and you will find Tjärö, a true gem with its own passenger ferry from the mainland. Once on Tjärö, there are opportunities to wander around the island but also visit the newly built restaurant.

Inside the center of Karlshamn you can visit the "old" Karlshamn with its cultural quarters such as the punch museum and the maritime museum.
North of the city is the Kreativum Science Center with lots to see and do for creative children.
West of Karlshamn is the famous Mörrumsån where it is possible to fish for salmon and salmon trout.

In the immediate area (approx. 100 km) you will find everything from the glass kingdom (Orrefors, KostaBoda), the world heritage city of Karlskrona, to IKEA's department store museum in Älmhult.
