Welcome to my modern apartment overlooking both Örnsköldsvik and the open sea – accommodation that shows how a Cabin in Sweden can combine urban convenience with a calm setting close to nature. This home is perfect if you want peace, yet easy access to both the city centre and outdoor adventures.

The apartment has an open layout between the kitchen and living room. There is a smart-TV and a sofa bed that quickly turns into an extra sleeping space when needed. The glass-enclosed balcony offers an uninterrupted view of Örnsköldsvik’s skyline and coastline – ideal for morning coffee or late-night chats after a day out.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and hob. Generous counter space makes it easy to prepare anything from quick everyday meals to dinners with the family.

The bathroom is fully tiled and fresh, with shower, WC, washing machine and tumble-dryer. After a hike or a day on the slopes, it is convenient to have clean, dry clothes ready for the next outing. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, plenty of storage and a small workspace. A second balcony facing the hill captures extra hours of sunshine.

The building offers an elevator and fast Wi-Fi. The apartment also includes a garage space where you can charge an electric car for a small fee.

Fishing in the area – The stretch of coast below the apartment offers free rod-and-line fishing for sea trout, herring, pike and perch, with the best conditions from early spring to late autumn. If you prefer freshwater angling, several lakes and ponds are just a 10–20 minute drive away where pike, perch, zander and stocked rainbow trout are eager to bite; a local fishing licence is required here and can be purchased easily online. Boat launches are available at the guest harbour, but many excellent spots are reachable from shore as well, so you can combine a hike on the High Coast Trail with an evening session by the water.
